Czech officials expect Obama to comment on plans to build a U.S. missile defence radar in the Czech Republic.
The Czech Republic, which holds the rotating EU's presidency, invited Obama to Prague after the April 2 G20 summit in London and the April 3-4 NATO summit in Strasbourg.
The source said Obama would visit the Czech capital on April 4 or 5. The Czech Foreign Ministry spokeswoman was not immediately available and the U.S. embassy in Prague declined to comment.
