The woman who claims the president of Paraguay is her son`s father now accuses the former roman Catholic bishop of rape.
The woman who claims that the President of Paraguay Fernando Lugo is her son`s father, accused the former Roman Catholic bishop of rape.
Lugo refused to comment on her accusations in great detail, but told a press conference that “this was all a part of the second chapter of the novel” and that he expects “the third chapter”.
- The matter is in the courts and you should talk to my attorney - the president said. However, Lugo`s attorney Marcos Farina was unavailable for a comment.
Raped by a priest
Benigna Leguizamon said he worked for the Magnificent in Ciudad del Esteo when the alleged incident took place in 2001. She was 17 years old and worked as a cleaning lady at the San Pedro Diocese, headed by Lugo at the time.
Lugo`s driver “took me to Fernando, who was waiting for me in his room. When I entered, they locked the door with me inside. It was there that he began to accost me”, Benigna Leguizamon confessed.
- I resisted and tried to call for help, but there was loud music and nobody else was around. He forced me to do it. To be honest, he raped me – Leguizamon said.
Benigna Leguizamon started a paternity motion in April and said that her son, born in September 2002, was a result of her relationship with Lugo.
