A gunman who took dozens of children hostage in a bus in the Philippine capital, Manila, has agreed with police to surrender at 7 p.m. (1100 GMT), a spokesman said.
"There's been an agreement for him to surrender at 7 p.m.," said spokesman Cipriano Querol, referring to the hostage-taker.
The man is believed to have at least one accomplice.
No further details were immediately available.
