As Britain has a new robot, Chinese police officers face Tibetan monks in Tongren.

The British Army has a new toy, a little green robot Testudo, which will be sent to perform various tasks that normal soldiers would not be safe or possible to perform.

At the same time, Tibetan monks gather in the city of Tongren for a prayer rally, while Chinese authorities have mobilised the police to prevent any incidents. Restless Tibetans do not honour the imposed Chinese authorities, as this has been the case for over half a century. The Dalai Lama, the spiritual and secular leader of Tibet is still in exile in India.
