The key question of the week was: is Tony Blair going to become a Catholic?
Other than the Blair dilemma, the week will be remembered for Segolene's break-up of a long-term relationship, the death of Cuba's "first lady," and Hillary Clinton's election campaign video in which she spoofed the last episode of The Sopranos.
Among other things, a new large-scale offensive was launched in Iraq, one of the bloodiest bombings occurred, the new Palestinian government was formed and a general strike was organized in Nigeria.
