Policeman Shoots Girlfriend Who Turned Him Down

Serbian police officer Goran Simic shot his girlfriend seven times after she refused to marry him.

In downtown Valjevo, Serbia, 23-year-old hair stylist Vesna Marjanovic was shot on Friday.

So far, unofficial information point that the offender of this disturbed act was the victim`s former boyfriend Goran Simic, otherwise a police officer from Osecina, Serbian Kurir newspaper reports.

Supposedly, the victim invited the killer to come in her home. Simic then threw her on the bed, beat her up and placed a pillow on her head, mercilessly firing seven shots to her head. The lifeless body was found by Vesna`s roommate Branka Pavlovic, who first thought Vesna was still alive, which is why she called a taxi and took her friend to the local hospital.

Covering up the crime

Embittered Marjanovic family expects the investigation to be finalised and they are most disappointed that the police have not offered any information about the case.

The cover-up enraged the tormented family, which believes everything was swept under the rug, because of the killer`s profession.

The motive for the murder was most likely the fact that Vesna turned Goran down every time he proposed.
