European Commission Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele said that the new accession model would mean that the most difficult chapters (23 & 24) would be dealt with first and that this would reform aspirants for the better.

The foreign ministers of countries in Croatia's neighbourhood spoke about the difficulties their countries were faced with. Ms. Pusic said that the Croatia was offering its know-how to countries in the region.
