The massacre that happened in China’s pre-war capital is one of the darkest episodes of world’s history.
On December 13, 1937 the Japanese army committed a massacre in Nanjing, China’s capital before the war. The crime known as “The Rape of Nanjing” lasted for six weeks and is one of the darkest episodes in world’s history.
Seventy years ago, the Japanese-Chinese war reached its peak of inhumanity with the massacre of hundreds of thousands of civilians committed by the Imperial Japanese Army that did not spare women or children.
