ZAGREB/ROME, Sept 21 (Hina) - The completion of the ratification of Croatia's Accession Treaty with the European Union will be one of the priorities of Ireland's presidency over the EU, Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny said in Rome on Friday, according to officials of Croatia's strongest opposition party, the HDZ.
HDZ president Tomislav Karamarko and its international secretary, Davor Stier, were in Rome to attend a meeting of the Centrist Democrat International.
"What was especially important for Croatia was the Irish prime minister's announcement that the completion of the ratification of the Accession Treaty between Croatia and the EU will be one of the priorities of Ireland's presidency in the first half of next year," Stier told Hina.
