RS: Secession Stories Ceased

RS is in Bosnia-Herzegovina and supports the Dayton peace agreement, said Milan Jelic, RS President.

After stories of the eventual elimination of the Bosnian Serb entity of Republika Srpska (RS) ceased, the announcements of a referendum on RS session stopped as well, said Milan Jelic, the entity President, the Nezavisne novine daily of Banja Luka reports.

“RS`s path is within Bosnia-Herzegovina and it supports the Dayton peace agreement, and we believe the stories of an eventual elimination of RS stopped, and with it the story of a session referendum as well”, said Jelic.

Speaking of eventual influences of the final Kosovo and Metohija on the situation in BH, Jelic said the fact that Serbs in BH are a constitutive people should not be forgotten, while Albanians in Serbia are a national minority, and how RS is a constitutive unit in BH.
