On Thursday, the last day of his term as Serbian foreign minister, Vuk Jeremic held talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow and on that occasion the Serbian official highlighted Russia as the most important partner of his country.
Jeremic was quoted by the Serbian news agency Beta as saying that their bilateral relations had been excellent during his ministerial term.
Lavrov was quoted as saying that he appreciated Jeremic's contribution to the development of the relations between Moscow and Belgrade.
Later on Thursday, the new Serbian parliament is expected to give a vote of confidence in the future Serbian government. (Hina)
