Russian Military Planes Collide, Pilots Survive-RI

Two military planes collided on Wednesday in southern Russia but the pilots managed to eject.

RIA news agency reported that, citing sources in law enforcement agencies.

RIA gave no further details of the incident, which it said happened in the Rostov region. Interfax news agency said the planes involved were MiG-29 fighters.

At least 177 people were killed in a trio of disasters in Russia in the past week.
