Sierra Leone's U.N.-backed special court on Wednesday found three former militia leaders guilty on several counts of war crimes.
The verdicts were the first delivered by the Sierra Leone court in prosecutions arising from a 1991-2002 civil war that also target former Liberian President Charles Taylor.
