He ruled from October 29, 1873 to June 19, 1902.
Albert was the Saxon King, born in Dresden and died in his castle Sibyllenort.
He had a successful military career and led Saxon soldiers in their first war of Schleswig, into the Austrian-Prussian war and French-Prussian war.
He ruled from October 29, 1873 to June 19, 1902. Since he did not have children, he was succeeded by his brother who became King George.
