* TIKRIT - A roadside bomb killed two children north of Tikrit, 150 km (95 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

* MOSUL - Two truck bombs killed 30 people and wounded 155 in the predominantly Shi'ite village al-Khazna east of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A car bomb targeting day labourers killed six people and wounded 19 in a mostly Shi'ite area of southwestern Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting labourers killed one civilian and wounded 41 in the Amil district of southwest Baghdad, police said.
