Following are security developments in Pakistan at 0815 GMT on Sunday.
QUETTA - Baluch militants killed four policemen they had taken hostage and dumped their bodies at the foot of a mountain in southwestern Baluchistan province, police said on Sunday. PESHAWAR - At least 10 Taliban militants and four tribesmen were killed in fighting in the ethnic Pashtun Mohmand tribal region near the Afghan border after militants shot dead a pro-government tribal elder, military officials and residents said on Sunday.
MIRANSHAH - A roadside bomb blast on Sunday hit a vehicle carrying Pakistani soldiers in the North Waziristan tribal region, a known sanctuary for al Qaeda and Taliban militants, killing two soldiers and wounding two, a government official said.
