Police have not yet confirmed the veracity of the tip because of which some 1,000 students have been evacuated from a Serb school.
Students and staff of a Serb school in Kosovo’s Laplje Selo were evacuated on Tuesday after a bomb threat.
The school’s headmistress, Marinka Mitrovic, told reporters an anonymous telephone call had been made to the school at 08:45 hours Tuesday, saying a bomb had been planted at the school.
Members of the Kosovo police force and a special KFOR bomb squad arrived at the school an hour later and started their search for the bomb, as was confirmed to reporters by Kosovo police spokesman Veton Elshani.
Police have blocked the road connecting the Serb villages of Caglavica and Laplje Selo.
