The Slovenian news agency STA reported on Saturday that the Janez Jansa cabinet had confirmed the decision to launch preparations to draw up a plan for the expressway, but had not yet decided which would be the best route. Over the past ten years, several different studies about said expressway had been drawn up.
The incumbent Slovenian government expects plans for the road to be drawn up by mid-next year, while the decision on the construction can be expected in late 2015.
