Statistics: Average Swede over 40, married

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Sweden's official statistics bureau said the average Swede is over age 40, married and spends 34 to 36 minutes a week on sports or outdoor activities.

Statistics Sweden said the 2012 Statistical Yearbook of Sweden lists the average Swede as a married adult over age 40 with two kids, monthly expenses of about $5,100 and monthly disposable income of about $6,900, The Local reported Thursday.

The agency said men spend an average 140 minutes per week watching TV or listening to radio, while women spend an average 118 minutes on those activities. The report said women spend an average 43 minutes a week cooking and men spend an average 26 minutes per week preparing food.

Statistics Sweden said an average of 1,142 boys and 1,082 girls are born each week.
