Stepfather and Mother Suspected of Killing Boy

When the ambulance the mother called arrived, the three-year-old was already dead. The mother and stepfather are in custody.

The stepfather, Milan Jovanovic, 30, and mother Vesna Jevremovic, 30, are suspected of the monstrous murder of a three-year-old Romani boy in Sabac, Serbia, Kurir reported.

According to doctor’s reports, the boy received lethal head injuries. When the ambulance the mother called arrived at the scene, the child was already dead. The mother and stepmother are currently being detained.

According to the parents, the child had an epileptic attack and fell off the bed. Neother the mother of stepfather knew which medicine the boy was taking, but as the boy had blood in his ears, the judge requested an autopsy. Milan Jovanovic and his brother Bora were beggars on the streets of Sabac and they often forced children to beg with them. The social services took away Vesna Jevremovic’s seven-year-old child due to abuse, but the social services did not take away the boy because nobody reported his abuse.
