The Cambridge University stated Hawking was recovering from an illness for which he was taken to the Addenbrooke Hospital earlier this week.
The Cambridge University issued a statement on Wednesday saying that physicist Stephen Hawking is still in hospital, but that he is recovering from a lung infection.
The university stated Hawking was “on a road to recovery” from the illness because of which he was taken to the Addenbrooke Hospital earlier this week.
Professor Stephen Hawking, one of the most prominent world’s physicists and author of the book “Brief History of Time”, was rushed to hospital, said a statement from Cambridge University on Monday. Hawking, 67, is completely paralysed due to an illness which was diagnosed when he was 21 years old.
