The Interior Ministry of the Heerzegovina-Neretva Canton has filed a suit with the Bosnia-Herzegovina Prosecution against three Kurds, Turkish citizens, who stayed in Mostar illegally and during the weekend brutally bludgeoned Asmir Gujic, 27, from Sarajevo. Gujic, from whom they stole a mobile telephone, was rushed to hospital where he was admitted for severe bodily harm.
The three Kurds are well known to police and had been banned from Bosnia for their indecent behaviour. They lodged an appeal with the Bosnian Security Ministry, which was quashed.
The motives for this incident are not known.
