Police have launched a murder inquiry after a teenager was stabbed to death at a house party in Liverpool on Saturday.
The 19-year-old man was among a group of 20 people at the party in the Garston area of the city when three men entered at about 3.10 a.m., Merseyside Police said.
One of the newcomers attacked the victim and stabbed him, before the three left.
The victim collapsed and was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead there.
Detectives are questioning the other guests at the party and carrying out house to house inquiries.
The murder is the latest in a series of violent crimes involving teenagers in recent weeks.
Last Saturday 15-year-old John Regis, the nephew of former Olympic sprinter John Regis, died after being stabbed in east London. Days earlier Kodjo Yenga, 16, was stabbed to death during a disturbance in west London.
The killings came after three teenagers were shot dead in seperate incidents in south London in February, sparking intense political debate about violent crime and gang culture.
