BANGKOK, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Thailand's Red Shirts will rally against the government again in Bangkok Jan. 23, a spokesman said Wednesday.

Worawut Wichaidit of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship told the Bangkok Post the rally, demanding justice for Red Shirts, opposition political activists known for their red clothing, killed in protests last spring, would begin at 3 p.m. and end at midnight.

Meanwhile, Tharit Pengdit, director general of the Department of Special Investigation, asked a court Wednesday to revoke the bail of Parliament Member Jatuporn Prompan. He said Jatuporn violated his bail terms by making a phone call to fugitive former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra at a Red Shirt rally Sunday.

"I have not been treated impartially by the DSI, and this is the DSI's fourth petition to revoke bail for me," Jatuporn, who is facing terrorism charges, responded,

The court will hear the case Jan 20.
