On Sunday, two policemen and one civilian were killed in separate attacks in Baghdad, announced the police.
A convoy of Iraqi police in the eastern part of the city was hit by a bomb and as a result two policemen were killed and another five wounded, announced the police. Two vehicles were also damaged.
In another incident, one civilian was killed, and another injured in an artillery strike on a house in the centre of the city.
On Sunday in Fallujah, 65 km west of Baghdad, an abandoned hotel exploded. According to the police report, the rebels placed explosives in the three storey building and activated it at dawn, destroying half the building.
The Iraqi forces were using half of that building as their base, according to the police, and added that they have no details about casualties.
