President of the Party for Democratic Action (SDA) Sulejman Tihic and the president of the Party for Bosnia-Herzegovina and BH Presidency member, Haris Silajdzic, have distributed ministries at a state level between these two parties.
- The foreign affairs minister and minister for human rights and refugees would come from the Party for BH, while the minister of security and defence from the SDA. deputy finance minister and deputy minister for civil affairs would go to SDA candidates, while the post of deputy justice minister will go to the candidate of the Party for BH» - said Tihic, as reported by the BHT 1 television. Tihic stated that it had been agreed at the meeting that the prime minister of the Federal government should come from SDA ranks.
Silajdzic and Tihic, incidentally the most passionate opponents in the electoral campaign, have recently coalitioned and will form rule together at the state, as well as the federal level. Governance was finally formed in BH following an agreement of seven parties a few days ago. Two ministries and a prime minister were secured by Serbs, three by Croats and four by Bosniacs. The elections took place on the October 1, 2006.
