Yugonostalgia and regret for the past times `when people lived better` were excellently cashed in at the `Tito` restaurant.
It is a well-known fact that there are people trapped in the past in the former Yugoslavia region, but only a few venture out and start a business on it, like a restaurant in the Serbian town of Labinstina.
Yugonostalgia and regret for the past times “when people lived better” and “people respected each other” were excellently cashed in at the “Tito” restaurant. Although right-wing and open-minded people would not agree with these statements, there are masses who would.
Our citizen reporter, whose handle is Jesa, recommended this restaurant to our readers with striking and quality photos. You can have a meal and look at the bust, photographs and various souvenirs with Former president of the Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia Josip Broz Tito. Follow the link to the article (note that it is written in Croatia).
Ending his reviews, our Jesa wrote:
- This means, Tito lives on! And nobody can outlive him! Perhaps the secret is “Death to fascism, freedom to the people!”, as it used to be shouted, and “From Vardar to Triglav, from Djerdap to the Adriatic” – you failed Music at school if you did not know how to sing it. In the end, a well-know greeting which sees no evil: “Zdravo!” (meaning Hello, as well as healthily, soundly).
