Following the raid the club`s manager agreed to a voluntary closure pending a review of his licence.
Police raided Pacha nightclub -- self-styled as the world's most historic club -- early on Saturday morning and during a search of over 200 people discovered 100 pills, 30 wraps of white powder and six wraps of brown paper discarded in the club.
"Following the raid the club's manager agreed to a voluntary closure pending a review of his licence," the police said in a statement.
Superintendent Simon Ovens added: "This was a highly successful operation which has taken a number of drug dealers off the streets of Westminster and sends a robust message to those that operate licensed premises."
Part of the worldwide Pacha nightclub and entertainment brand, the London venue is in a 1920s building with original oak panelling and a stained glass ceiling in Victoria in the centre of the capital.
Reuters was unable to reach anyone from Pacha for comment over the club's closure.
