One person was killed when falling rocks crashed through the roof of a nightclub in a tourist resort in central Turkey.
It said a rescue team was working to free people trapped in the rubble after the collapse early in the morning. Four people were also injured, but it was not clear how many people were in the club at the time.
The incident occurred in the town of Urgup in the region of Cappadocia, renowned for unusual rock formations and rock-carved churches which are a popular attraction for tourists.
Anatolian news agency said four or five more people were believed to be trapped in the remains of the club which stood at the foot of a hill.
