Bhutto died in a gun and suicide bomb attack in Rawalpindi, a garrison city adjoining the capital Islamabad, on December 27.
Pakistani investigators arrested two "very important alleged terrorists" on Thursday in connection with the assassination of opposition leader Benazir Bhutto, security officials said.
"The joint investigation team investigating the attack has arrested two very important alleged terrorists, Hasnain and Rafaqat, from Rawalpindi today," one senior security official told AFP on condition of anonymity.
Bhutto died in a gun and suicide bomb attack in Rawalpindi, a garrison city adjoining the capital Islamabad, on December 27. The government accuses an Al-Qaeda-linked militant commander for orchestrating her killing.
