US Army Releases Report On War In Iraq

Text

The study was written in a non-biased way, singling out Donald H. Rumsfeld, the person who has fooled the entire nation.

The latest report on the campaign in Iraq, following the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, showed that -.--.-the US Army did a poor job because it was not prepared for what happened, leading American media, like the Washington Post and The New York Times write.

The army did not know what to do after Saddam

Only a few days after US general Antonio Taguba accused the Bush administration of war crimes – thus becoming the first high ranking army official to state such charges – the entire military top criticised civilian and army leaders, responsible for the war in Iraq.

The study called `On Point II: Transitions to the New Campaign` records army operations from May 2003 up to January 2005, the most critical period of American presence in Iraq. This is when the United States were supposed to take control over Iraq and establish the foundations for a new government, a new order and the country`s wellbeing in general. A fact widely known, they failed to do this.

The reasons: they were unprepared and satisfied with the operation against Saddam, they did not recognise the situation which suggested the real battle was to start once the dictator was overthrown. There was no peace-keeping strategy in Iraq, which is absolutely unprofessional, US army experts Donald P. Wright and Timothy R. Reese believe, authors of the study along with a military team.

Rumsfeld criticised in the study

- The transition to a new campaign was not well thought out, planned for, and prepared for before it began. The transition to a new campaign was not well thought out, planned for, and prepared for before it began – Wright and Reese wrote, adding that being unprepared helped the guerrilla fighters to efficiently oppose them.

-.-mikelynaugh.com-.-Donald RumsfeldAlthough the study`s release date is today, June 30, the New York Times ran it in its entirety on June 28, obtaining it from the US Army web site. The study was written in a non-biased way, singling out Donald H. Rumsfeld, the person who consciously lied about the reasons why Iraq was invaded and is still free.

Perhaps the accusations that “ignoring the need for modernising army forces instead of constant and unnecessary military conflicts with the rebels” will finally start a procedure against the responsible parties. Anyway, the USA does not learn from its mistakes committed in Vietnam. Regardless of them, they still wage wars across the world.
