 A U.S. nuclear envoy said on Friday his rare trip to North Korea led to positive and detailed discussions where both sides agreed to fulfil pledges made in a February disarmament pact.

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill made an overnight trip to the secretive state to try to get Pyongyang to live up to a pledge it made at six-way talks to shut its reactor and source of weapons-grade plutonium.
