VideoA year before the attack, Donald Rumsfeld’s organization PNAC predicted an act that would shake America and force an invasion of Iraq.
The Project for the New American Century, simply called PNAC, was conceived so that America could control the world. To prove how extreme their ideas were can also be confirmed by the fact that the official website of the organization has disappeared.
Neo-conservatives blame PNAC for the war in Iraq
- The 20th century has taught us that you need to react before things get out of control and become a crisis – is the main thought of the founders of the organization that is being blamed for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
After the Iraq failure, the neo-conservatives denied that they were responsible for the war, and they thoughtfully shifted the blame on the extreme branch PNAC. When the avalanche of criticism “rolled” in their direction, they simply disappeared. They closed their official website which showed the latest news about their ideas, the wars, and America's success. They no longer exist. Just when people started to dare to ask them about the start of the war against terrorism, just when the US is preparing for elections.
In 1997, the neo-conservatives William Kristol and Robert Kagan founded PNAC, with the aim of
getting the USA to stand on its feet and free itself of evil regimes in the beginning. The most dangerous of those regimes was Saddam Hussein.
They did not want to be in the shadows any longer, and on January 26, 1998 they sent a letter to Bill Clinton in which they sought the urgent invasion of Iraq in order to stop any attempts of attacks against the United States. Clinton ignored them, because of which they contacted all of the Republican members of congress. They did not ignore them.
The most famous members of PNAC are Rumsfeld and Cheney
PNAC managed to win over the Republicans as well as the neo-conservatives, and in doing so the financial support was a lot stronger, even though they called themselves a non-profit organization.
The wishes for a stronger America, that would control the world, was helped by the win of the Republican presidential candidate George W. Bush. President Bush, some would say, became the president of America by force, which was confirmed by the fact that he was the first president in history to win with less votes than his opponent. Also, the affair in Florida where 22 thousand Democrats were denied the right to vote, says a lot, as well as the late verdict from the Supreme Court that everything was normal.
PNAC then “gained its wings”, and Bush called them a useful organization whose aim was the progress of America. He then hired 17 members of PNAC for his administration, of which the most famous is Donald Rumsfeld, the person who was proven to have manipulated evidence concerning the war in Iraq. However, even though everything that he listed as a reason to go to war was a lie, Donald is not in prison, and neither is vice-president Dick Cheney, who is also a member of PNAC. He was a person that hid in the shadows and did not expose himself like Rumsfeld did.
However, regardless of how extreme the ideas of PNAC were, what provoked the most controversy was the 90 page document from September 2000, called “Rebuilding America’s Defences – Strategy, Forces and Resources for a New Century” in which PNAC described in detail, how the United States could progress.
“America needs a new Pearl Harbour”
Even though the entire document is very extreme, the most interesting part is where PNAC called for a new Pearl Harbour:
“Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor.
The document also mentioned that the United States is now ignoring Saddam Hussein, and in order
to stop ignoring him, something needs to happen to shake America to come to its senses, and to invade Iraq. The invasion would remove a dictator, but also take control of oil, or resources needed for the further liberation of the world….
One year later, the World Trade Centre attack occurred. America was quite shaken, the support for the war was absolute, nobody asked any questions. Whilst this was occuring, people did not realize that something was wrong.
The document is being compared to “Mein Kampf”
It is incredible that the document could be read on the internet for eight years, and nobody reacted.
The question remains if they will react at all. The politics of the Republicans is responsible for the many lies to the people, and it is responsible for the death of tens of thousands of people, and the loss of hundreds of billions of dollars.
Political analysts are comparing the document to Mein Kampf, because it was also ignored until war took place. However, everybody knows how the Nazi idea and Hitler ended. The problem is that people have obviously learned nothing, and they allow these people to lead the world.
