VIDEO: Iran Proves American Lies with Video

Text

The video recording which Iran broadcast, clearly shows that Iran’s patrol boats did not threaten American boats as the US claims.

On Thursday, Iran published a video recording in which it can be clearly seen that its patrol boats did not threaten the American military ships in the Persian Gulf, bringing into question the American version of that event which president George Bush called an act of provocation.

The recording which was broadcast by the Iranian satellite station Press TV, gives a totally different vision of the events in the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday, in relation to what the American department of defence released this week.

The incident is the latest sign of tense relations between Washington and Tehran, which are already deteriorated because of the dispute about Iran’s nuclear program, and allegations of violence in Iraq.

This comes at a time when George Bush is currently visiting the Middle East.

Press TV says that the recording which was published by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards, a day after event they called the Pentagon video false, includes footage of sailors from both sides.

Colonel Ali Fadavi says that the Iranian boats only approached the US ships in order to read the registration markings that were not visible from far away, reports Press TV.

The video recording shows the Iranian navy officer communicating with a ship that could not be clearly identified. A total of three ships were visible on the recording, of which one had the marking “73” on the side.

On Wednesday, the American president said that there could be “serious consequences” of the American ships wee attacked, and that all options were open.
