INCIDENT AT HIGH SCHOOL
FEBRUARY 17 2009 19:14h
Three second grade pupils attacked their teacher, first verbally then physically – threatening him with an axe.
Second grade pupils in Zenica attacked their teacher, first verbally, then physically – they swung an axe in his direction. As the hooligans bullied the electrotechnics teacher Amer Kamenjkovic, other pupils recorded the incident with their mobile phones, the Dnevni avaz daily reports.
It is not familiar when the recording was actually made, but it is suspected that the incident took place during the first term, sometime around New Year`s.
The school headmaster found out about the bullying upon seeing the recorded footage on a mobile phone that was confiscated from one of the pupils due to inappropriate behaviour. The incident may never have been revealed, because the teacher decided to keep numb about it.
Three 16-year-old pupils were expelled from the school and they are facing misdemeanour charges, because cold-blooded weapon was used in the incident – an axe. The teacher`s council asked the teacher to resign on his own, which he did.
