Southern US states were on the path of the tornado this time. Damage is estimated in millions.
Several tornados that hit southern parts of the United States killed 20 people. Half of the people died in a Georgia hospital, while the other half died in smaller towns in southern Alabama.
The strong wind tore down houses, trees, cars and left thousands of homes without electricity.
I was shocked. It was worse than I thought, said Sonny Perdue, Georgia governor.
Southern parts of the United States were affected, as was the mid west, while snow storms blocked north western parts of the country.
