VIDEO: U.S. Marine Throws Puppy off Cliff

Two marines in the video are laughing as one of them is holding a black and white puppy by the scruff of the neck.

The command of the U.S. military base in Hawaii has launched an investigation into a shocking video released on the Internet, AP reported.

The poor quality footage lasts for 15 seconds and shows a marine throwing a puppy off a cliff. You can see it HERE. Some web sites have identified the marine as Corporal David Motari, but this information has not been officially confirmed.

The spokesman for the navy base, Chris Perrine, said the navy will not tolerate such conduct.

- We will investigate this and take appropriate action – Perrine said.

- Cute little puppy – said the marine holding the dog before he flung it down the cliff. The innocent animal’s yelps and laughing of the second marine can be heard afterwards.

The video has caused outrage by all of those who saw it. One YouTube user left a message that the soldier should be punished severely.
