Prime minister of Croatia was most powerful Croat. Today he is fugitive.
And the prime minister is..? -- Croatian President Stjepan Mesic handed HDZ President Ivo Sanader the mandate for forming the government. Sanader convinced Mesic that he enjoyed the support of more than 77 elected MPs, therefore, the parliament majority. Sanader announced official consultations with future partners, the HSS-HSLS coalition and national minority MPs. He is convinced he would form the new government before the constitutional deadline.
