Obama unveils economic stimulus plan

WASHINGTON, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Barack Obama on Thursday unveiled his economic stimulus plan, designed to help lift the economy out of a deepening recession, urging Congress to approve it as soon as possible.
