A singer in popular German girl group `No Angels` is accused of having unprotected sex with three men without telling them she was HIV positive.
Last year Nadja Benaissa - seen here on the right - was getting ready with her pop group "No Angels" to represent Germany in the Eurovision song contest.
Now the 26-year-old is in police custody.
German state prosecutors are accusing the star of having unprotected sex with three men without telling them she was HIV positive.
German media say one of the men has been infected.
The singer could be charged with grievous bodily harm.
The mother-of-one was arrested before a solo performance in a western German town.
The investigating judge decided to keep her in custody as there was a danger she might repeat the alleged offence.
"No Angels" were formed during the TV series "Popstars" in 2000 - and quickly became Germany's most successful girl group.
They split but later reformed in 2007 with four of the original five members.
