A toddler accidentally flushed his one-week-old pet puppy down the toilet prompting a rescue operation.
This pet pooch thought he was getting a wash from his four year old owner.
Daniel Blair from Northolt in England flushed the one-week old cocker spaniel down his toilet.
When he realised the dog had disappeared he ran to get help prompting a rescue operation.
(SOUNDBITE)(English) ALISON BLAIR, MOTHER OF BOY WHO FLUSHED PUPPY DOWN TOILET, SAYING:
"I ran out of the house, and ran to where the side of the house where the manhole cover was behind the toilet, lifted the manhole cover hoping to find the puppy, I could hear him but I couldn't see him. Called lots of people to help with the rescue. Fire-fighters came here for a few hours but unfortunately they didn't have the equipment needed to pull the puppy out."
Plumbers were called to the scene where they inserted a camera to find the flush puppy and get him out of the mess.
Having recovered from his mucky adventure the puppy is resting comfortably with his family.
They've called him Dyno after his rescuers Dyno-Rod plumbers.
