Star-struck teenager sues

A teenage girl is suing a Belgium tattoo artist after she allegedly asked him for three stars on her face - but eneded up with 56.

When Kimberley Vlaeminck from Brussels went to have a few stars tattooed on her face - she got more than she bargained for.

"I closed my eyes and didn't feel any pain. I fell asleep and woke up from the pain on my nose when he was busy applying a big star. Then I woke up with 56 stars."

18 year-old Kimberley claims she only asked for 3.

Not so says Rouslan Tounamiantz, the tattoo artist.

"Basically she stood up during the session. She went down on the couch, stood up, looked in the mirror, went down and not only can I say it, but I have one witness who saw everything"

He says the problem started when Kimberley's father showed up.

"And then the father came just when we had just done the outlining and from that moment it was bad for her. But before she was just doing what she wanted to do"

The teenager says now she dreads going out in public and can't bear to look at herself in the mirror.

"Before I used to do my make up in front of the mirror, but now I don't put on make up anymore. I just use the mirror to apply my ointment."

Kimberly says she'd like to keep 3 stars and have the rest removed - but she's frightened of the pain.

Her family fear she could now be scarred for life.

Kimberley is suing for damages to have the not so lucky stars removed.
