However, The Shanghai Flood Control Department said on Sunday that the storm was making it's way back out to sea.
The storm, which was downgraded from a typhoon, killed 18 people in Taiwan before causing torrential rain and flooding as it passed over eastern mainland China.
Rescue workers and residents were working on Sunday to clear rubble and rebuild homes and lives in the aftermath of the typhoon, which left the island on Friday (July 18) heading for mainland China, Taiwanese media reported.
